For sale via e-Bay:
This 56 was the beginning of the Corvette major body redesign. I bought this car original 95,000 mile corvette from the 3rd owner. This car is a California car thus having a total rust free frame The car is painted Venetian red with a red hardtop and a new white soft top. The interior is red and white in excellent condition.
This car is equipped with a numbers matching 2x4 set up, 265 225 H.P automatic.
The car is a total numbers matching car.
Block Casting 3720991,
FG stamped on the front of block pad
Carburetors 2419S front, 2362 S back
Generator 1102043
The car is also equipped with heater, windshield washer (blue vinyl bag), auxillary hardtop, hydraulic folding top, signal seeking AM radio. The hydraulic top is currently not working as it has been disconnected, however all the parts are still there, which I understand are very hard to find. The car has all the proper chrome shielding over plug wires. The body chrome is nice but its only driver chrome as some of the chrome is faded, and does not have new chrome shine. All chrome is very nice with no pitting. The car has new wide white wall tires from Coker and nice hubcaps.
Car was painted 20years ago with an Emron paint. Paint is very nice overall but has a few rock chips. A few major chips around the hood and both doors, but has been touched up with the original color touch up paint. Paint is a little better than driver status however not enough to be show quality. All glass is great with a small rock chip in middle of windshield. Hardtop glass is excellent condition as hardtop has been sitting in storage for years.
This is an excellent ORIGINAL 56 corvette as the motor has never been taken out of car and runs and drives great.
The car has an Arizona title with actual mileage. The car is located in Laughlin Nevada.. |
